that will be on my list of things to do. I just cut my tins for the manifold yesterday. I am not real happy with the way I cut them. It looks like you took a better approach. do you have a close up of your cut?

yeah its because that damn factory manifold hole is so far out. I have a 25hp here in the garage that belongs to Eliot, the hole is way smaller and its cut real close.

She runs real nice and smooth! This was a huge VW milestone for me, first engine build! Super stoaked!

Fun little motor so far, kinda like my 2110cc but with a lot less power. :-)

I was able to get to 55mph with the reduction boxes, no issue at all. Interesting the amount of torque the reduction boxes put down. Had a lot of pedal left and it felt like it had more to give- but is was just a quick run to the headliner shop.

A video of it running can be found here on the splash page:

Thanks for all the help and advice!

I was telling someone not to long ago that building the WW okrasa motor was more gratifying and just as fun as building a 2332. Yep its not a powerhouse but when you stand back and look at it I know you tell yourself the same thing I do..." Damn that thing looks good!"
