The heads are fly cut and ported.

Well as bad as yesterday was today is getting better by the minute. A good friend of mine who is a Division Chief for the fire dept in Loveland Colorado just called me and said he is going to go get the bus and stash it safe in his shop. Thats 7 hours closer to Texas. Great! Even better the guy that sold it to me called and told me to ship the head back to him when I get it off and he will pay to have it fixed. From what he says these heads are one of a kind... and he wants to get it fixed at the same machine shop that they were made at. Apparently they took stock heads and ported them out to make these bigger valves fit them. From what my seller said one head got some sort of special procedure that melds or presses the seats with the head to make them pretty much one with each other. the other head did not get this special thing done and we think thats the head that failed. I dont know much about machining though. Any thoughts on this? Opinions?

Hire a transporter, and get it shipped here...then start working out the problems.
