we just got back in from vegas. and we will be heading home tomorrow morning I havent had internet access( I wouldnt pay the 6.00 an hour the hotel wanted) I am looking forward to be back home and getting started on the bodywork on dug bug.

Good seeing you all yesterday. Congratulations on getting it home! It looks like there is a lot of work ahead of you but another Bug saved is a good thing . Did you tow it all the way or did you end up puttting it on a trailer to get it home?

As for the stamped numbers, I think they are the body only serial number but not positive.
