Ohhhhh! Yes, I'm keeping the '69. It's in amazing condition. I'm pretty sure that it has 15,000 authentic or original miles. There are a few add ons but other than those it is stock all the way. It has one very small rust spot by the rear window seal, but no leaks. I drove it home last night in the pouring rain and it handled the road just as good if not better than my Hummer! It still has that new car smell. I'm thinking this car might be my 3 year olds first car in 13 years  ! You have to see it to really enjoy it. I'm going to drive it down to the Monument Show.

Well I was soooo sure that I had proven that when water rises around a bug that it would float was an urban myth.....well I didn't. When I got to my car it still had a foot or more of water around it, and a nasty snake on the fender I would have shot the thing but there was no way I was going to take a shot at my car. We were able to get her out the next day. I changed the oil and seems that no water got in the engine. The interior got about an inch but the water in the garage got up to 2 1/2 feet and she was sitting sidways in the garage soooo.....yes she did float! I took her to a good friends body shop (he has the best restoration guy ever) to have her dried out because at the moment I have no where to do it. I'm picking her up in a few hours and can't wait. Thanks to Chris P. and James for your advice.
