Have any of you guys ever ran kadrons before? I heard stories of people having flat spots with their 009 mech dist. I currently have a 010. Just wanted to see what you guys ran into when you did it.

Kostya had them on a stock 1600 just like you. You should be fine anyway, especially with the 010, it's advance comes on much quicker than the 009, about 1000 rpm sooner

ran a 009 on a 40 horse i built and a 009 on a 1600 that was in my 63 it had a 34 pct never any problems

im realy digging the baja and i think you will be very happy with the kadrons...awsome set of carbs...they should bring your motor to life...

i will have a pic up pretty soon with my kads. its pretty sweet, the air filters are underneath the back lid. their hidden so it wont get too much attention.
I had a lot of problems with linkages. one set i returned could be put on because the fuel pump was in the way and the the rods really couldnt go throught the middle of the alternator. it was pathetic whoever made those. when the built the linkage they must have just used the longblock and the fan shroud. the second i was talked into was way better by scat but i have had to modify it to work. i had to take a chunk out in the center piece and replace the ball holder thing for the rods with bolts,(had to drill them out) i like the rods(they swivel alot) ive had a problem with trying to adjust them hopefully figure it out tomoro. it sounds like only one working, not too much experience with duals though
