FI sounds like a fun project. Seeing yours will definitely lead to some research.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes everyone.

Kostya- there's several routes you can go, premade kit, piece together a mexican beetle/late type 1 style setup, or if you feel adventurous ITB's from a late model sport bike. There's a guy on STF, mario, selling complete mexican beetle EFI kits with megasquirt and a crank trigger setup.

Dude I am so far really impressed with megasquirt and the MSextra firmware, I'm going distributorless ignition for less then a compufire module/cap/rotor. There's tons of good stuff on STF, here's the complete list of features for MS1 extra http://www.msextra.com/doc/ms1extra/MS_ ... _Index.htm ,I paid $200 for MS1(does require assembly) and the firware upgrade was free, had to do it so i could direct fire my coilpacks. Making the stock bus EFI jive with megasquirt didn't require a lot, just needed a intake air temp sensor, fuel pump, I intergrated a throttle position sensor onto the stock throttle body, and a wideband o2 sensor(I already had one laying around).

Ask away if you have any questions.
