Looks alot like color code L390 Gulf Blue. I had a 61 beetle that color. Nice car!

I dropped the split case tranny off with Kelly at The Bug Stop yesterday for a quick rebuild. I plan on stripping the 36 horse this weekend and getting everything over to the powder coating place :thumbs: Then it's over to Kostya's for a motor refresh :dance: :dance:

Here's some more pictures of the 58. We ordered a HEATED ULTRASONIC CLEANER to clean parts like carbs, fuel pumps, etc, etc. Can't wait to get started on the motor :dance: :dance:
