Ben you can get it alot closer by sight just by loosening the tie rod ends and turning them until things are close.

I am pretty sure I can ...just didn't want to mess with it this afternoon.

If your front tires are the same you can use a tape measure. I think he rear of the tire should be about 1/4 or 1/8 of an inch more than the front. Just eyeball the caster/camber you can adjust it with your upper ball joint.

Never adjusted a ball joint before .

My neighbor has an antique alignment bar that I went down and borrowed. I went out and checked the front end and it is almost 1-1/2" off . No wonder my old tires wore so much on the inside of the tread. I am going to try & adjust the tie rods tomorrow.

Here is a picture of the tire aligment tool my neighbor is letting me use. I was hoping to get out and use it today but it doesn't look like the weather is going to co-operate.
