I've always thought it would be fun to build a 36'er with a speedwell supercharger http://speedwellusa.com/shop/?slug=prod ... ucts_id=30

I've always thought the roots type blowers were a better design than the vane type like Judsons.

Who knows, maybe someday I'll ditch my 230+ hp monster and go vintage speed in my Outlaw '55 8-)

super charger looks cool!

I went ahead and just shipped my heads and pressure plate to Brothers. They are going to balance crank and rods with flywheel and pressure plate.

..... Been eyeballing that WW OKRASA kit, not sure if it will help that much in a bus. Thanks!

It won't help enough :| It's expensive for what gains you get.... especially after you spend the extra money with Mr. Okrasa to work over the cheapo Chinese carbs that come with the kit to make them work right :-(

Just stick with the stock 36-er for now. It's a cool motor, for sure. Depending on how you use the Bus, that engine may be just fine.

The link to the VIN/chassis info is here: https://www.thesamba.com/vw/archives/info/chassisdating.php

Thinking about going with 80mm pistons and bigger valves on stock sp heads, worth it??
