Went and checked out the 1835 today and ended up bringing it home :dance: . It has a J serial numbered heavy duty case :thumbs: , dual kadrons w/linkage, oil pump with screw on filter, two fan shrouds (one regular style and one Porsche style), some chrome shit and a distrbutor with a see-through cap :roll: . It has almost everything needed to make a complete motor. The case is all together with a balanced crank and was assembled by a local VW shop. The balance of the motor will need assembling and then a new exhaust will be added. I think one of the local dLk brothers ;) is going to do the final assembly for me if we can negotiate a fee.
