I thought Fat Chicks were Super Beetles, later standards fit more the Muffin Top look don't they?

Looking great!! I like how that fat chick turned into an oval :hillbilly:

as per the samba:

Fatchick Slang term for most air-cooled VWs that use 4-bolt wheels, such as 68 and newer Standard Beetles, Super Beetles, Bay Window Buses, 1970 and later Ghias, 1970 and later Type 3s, etc.

So a Super Beetle with adapted wide fives was a Fat Chick but went on Jenny Craig Fuel and got drove alot and now is as good as any oval, split or early bug?

Well I spent the last two afternoons taking the old pans off. Not complete but close. Still need to air chisel the little bit left on the ledge. Pic later when I find my card reader.
