It's a flux capacitor, it will transform my beetle into a time machine





It's an ignition box (top) and a coil (bottom). The ignition box lets you have a couple rev limiters, a start retard (for easier starting), and most importantly, it lets you run a coil that you could practically weld with
That particular ignition box also has a provision for a boost sensitive timing retard, which will be important some day . It also has an RPM window switch that you could use to control a nitrous system. It also has a tach output that should play nicely with my LM-1 and LMA-3.

Can I borrow your time machine? I know of a few people that should be slapped as children....

lol. Between the LM-1, Aux Box, and soon the ignition box, not to mention the 5 gauges in there, this car is starting to have a lot of electronics. Just wait to I go fuel injection!
This is the one good thing I learned from the period when I didn't have any air cooled dibs and was into water cooled ones, electronics can be your friend and help you get the most out of your engine. They can also be a real PITA though, lol

That is what I like about the air cooled vw. No major electronics to work out, and here you go makeing things more complicated
