Hey Mike I need to get my torque meister back from the guy I loaned it to. If you need it to tighten your axle nut down let me know and I will PM him and get it back.

Ethan that would be great. I went out tonight to see if I could get anymore with the impact but no go. Would be great for an extra piece of mind.

Just a quick update. Borrowed Ethans Torquemeister (thanks again) and got the rear drums issue fixed. Still have a grinding/scraping noise in the front which I am pretty sure is bearing adjustment related. New master installed (thanks Dylan) as of early this evening. Need to get her up on stands and wheels off so I can start bleeding and hopefully all will be good by next weekend.

Doubtful.. But maybe depending on how things go tomorrow. As much as I would like to work on it Sat and be able to drive it, I have to get the racecar back together. Right now its so bent up all it wants to do is turn right, which isn't any good in a turn left sport :(

Spent a couple hours in the garage last night working on the brakes. Started at the right front by adjusting the brakes to get ready to bleed and thats where the problems started. I knew I had a scraping noise coming from that side so before doing anything I checked the bearing adjustment and it was fine. But as I was adjusting the shoes out, I could hear and feel the drum starting to rub the backing plate. Pulled the drum and sure enough there was a spot where it was rubbing. However, it doesn't rub with the shoes adjusted in or removed, and the backing plate is not bent. Thinking its possibly a bad inner bearing.

Any thoughts?

Don't forget to mention you used cheap bearings and didn't change the races.....
