Slowly but surely...

checking clearance between the rods and pistons. And yes, that's Play Dough, lol. There was at least 2 mm, which is plenty.

Clearance between the crank and cam is enough, despite a huge cam and big crank

Ready to put together

Short block all buttoned up

I got a new sump, its a Scat 1.5 qt. Its about an inch shorter than the EMPI sump I used to run and will give me more ground clearance. I used to bottom out occasionally.

My custom Ferrea valves came in Friday, and I already got my Ti retainers and LS1 springs, so now Darren can build my new heads

What truss bar is that?
Donnie's doesn't come apart in the middle like yours.

it's made by Eyeball Engineering. Very heavy duty, that center bar is 1.5" diameter thick wall steel. Mike at Rancho told me the BugPack ones flex too much to be effective...

This was just painful, hacking a virgin Oval dash...

Here's the purpose though...

I'm getting rid of my reserve switch on my tank and putting in an -8 AN outlet to support my new power levels. So its finally time for a fuel gauge.
