Sorry I haven't updated in awhile, but here goes.... Back from the blaster, and all the braces are cleaned up for the cargo floor. Small braces and other pieces have been cut away and new ones prefabbed to go in with the floor. Allot of cutting and grinding has been going on. At this point the inner rockers are in and the cargo floor should be in by Friday.

So it will be painted next week or what? You don't waste any time getting that thing done. Most people brag about having every nut and bolt redone on their projects.......But you Sir, are molesting all the spot welds! Outrageous! :wow: :wow: :wow:

How do you handle all this damn Houston heat? I can barely get motivated to water my yard. You could powder coat in my garage, its so HOT!

We didn't get the cargo floor welded in today, but it's test fitted and ready to be welded Monday morning. The heat, and a piece of crap Ford Sport Trac held us up some. The DC is now completely rust free  Matt and I worked real hard cutting, grinding, and welding. The patch panels are in, and the lower rockers are welded to the inner rockers now. Holes are just about all drilled for the spot welds on the floor. Por 15 was brushed on the inner panel bottoms where it is prone to rust. Epoxy primer is now on all the inside and underside, including the floor frame sections. So it shouldn't ever rust again.
