I'll try to look up the numbers on my car. IIRC it's an April car. I wish mine was a 3-fold :(

Did you ever find out anything about those little metal patches over the over rider holes that your can and mine have?

Yea, it appears that it is ram guards from the factory that someone welded up at some point. After further inspection there's burn marks on the inside apron through the OG paint. Also stripped the paint and found filler. I want to go back original but I hate overriders :(

Huh, it's strange that someone did that to yours and mine so identically. If I were you I would live with the descrepancy between the birth cirtificate and the car and skip the ram protection. It looks terrible with eggs.

I agree 100% :X :X I'm not planning to put them back on there. They can always be added back if someone wants them later. I'm sure Buddy would drill the holes for them for FREE w:pw w:pw

NOPE, It is March 1955 as Eliot shows, because the March chassis numbers ENDED with 847 966.

I'm also curious to know how close this cars build date is to Bian's??

Body Stamping: 743441 Early March
VIN Plate: 1-0837695 Early March
Chassis Stamping: 1-0837695 Early March
Engine Stamping: 1-1009748 Early March
Wheels are all stamped: 3/55 March

Eliot It cant be a March car because in march the chassis numbers started with 847 966 . Which is after your 837 695. Feb the chassis number started 823 604
