Ouch!!! I guess back to the drawing board. :cry: :cry:

Maybe then I can powder coat the blade black, the shroud ring, mani and carbs do in copper.

Never saw the show, my guy that does my powder coat has the system. His samples look nice. I can see doing a car would have its issues, but small pieces I don't think would have the same issues.

I've seen the chrome powder coat. It looks nice. What they did to that Audi looks terrible!

Gabe had a porche fan chromed or powder coated with the chrome stuff. I can't remember which But it looked bad ass. Get on dhk board and ask him. There was no balancing after they chromed it.

he was the one I believe who told me it could not be chromed. his doesnt look chromed to me

There are actually 2 types of blades with different materials. I believe one can be and the other can't. Rick powder coated his blade. I'll do some more research on it.

I took it for Gabe to have it done and if I remember it was polished then clear powder coated.

so maybe that was it, that it couldn't be chromed because of what it was made out of. I didnt think it looked chrome.
