Thanks for asking Bo. I honestly haven't driven it since we moved into the house a month ago. Right now it's parked on the side driveway beside the garage behind a gate. It's a total PITA to open and close the gate, so I haven't been driving it (yeah, lame excuse, I know... lol). This weekend we will get the garage cleared out enough that I can get it in there, then I will have better access to it again and start daily driving it once more. Hopefully this winter I will be converting it to fuel injection, so it will be down for a while then. Then hopefully within the next year it will have double the horsepower it does now

I actually fired up my bug today after neglecting it for 2 months!
Seems I have a clogged idle circuit on #1, so I am going to rebuild both carbs, they are both overdue anyhow. Hopefully I'll be daily driving her again soon!

Yeah, its been sitting since we moved into this house. First it was behind the gate that was a PITA to open, so I wasn't driving it. Then I made enough room in the garage finally to get it in there, but it was really squeezed in there, and it ran like total shit when I moved it from behind the gate to the garage. Haven't had a chance till today to mess with it. Been crazy busy at work and at home..

rebuilt the carbs this weekend and re-adjusted/synched them. Re-did my front whitewalls too, they were looking pretty shabby. Also put my dLk sticker on the rear window finally. Other than washing her she's about ready for her trip to AZ!

you may have already answered this but, are you driving the oval or pulling it?
