I'm motivated! Yesterday was a whole lot of good stuff, and I want to get my notch road worthy right now! Yesterday, I hook the alternator up, and verified it is charging(like a boss, 13.3v!). Keep in mind my motor is a bus motor, I have a frehly rebuilt alternator(whoever rebuilt it was a bunch of idiots but thats neither here nor there), a used bus voltage regulator, and a OG wire harness for all that goodness. I looked up the wiring diagram for a bus and figured out which wire goes to my stupid light(which has 12v sitting on it and is supposed to light up when it gets a ground, which it does). so I checked the blue wire from the wire harness and that SOB just has 12v sitting on it(all the damn time). I figured I could worry about it later, thats a negatie ghost rider, over night it drained my battery. Lesson learned, don't buy used electrical stuff from the samba. I'm going to run to advanced auto parts and order(luckily its a cheapy part), and i should have it tomorrow. I can still drive the car since it charges the battery fine, i'll just unplug the voltage regulator tonight so i don't have to keep the battery charger on it.

Rant over!

I got a bunch of little things done, modified my roller pedal to get full throttle, installed the pedal stop(ahh the joys of a fresh pan), hooked the clutch cable up, installed my OG shift coupler(with new bushings), adjusted the shifter, verified all my fuel lines and fuel pump are going to clear the tie rods, and filled a flat tire. I'm going to go and order that VR then mess with the tune and try to get it to idle(I'm hoping my cam isn't too agressive for the FI setup, if it is I'll have to get those motorcycle ITB's on it).

Thanks guys! I'm about to head over to lowes and get some tin to make the adapter for my bellows, then check the timing offset(I don't think its more then a couple of degrees hopefully, but I have almost no room to get a timing light in there), then take her around the block and mess around with the tune some more.
