I finally had a chance to play with some of my new-to-a-ninja parts, friggin school load this week was insane.
so I finally got the rest of the components to finish my barometric pressure compensation circuit(when i go up of down in elevation the fuel table will automatically compensate for the thinner/denser air, don't need it around here but I'll be taking the car to colorado for the 2012 type 3 invasion, then i will need it for sure). total cost for all the componests was $13.
on the left you'll see I added a cap to the power in for the megasquirt, hopefully that will fix the last bit of reset issues. On the right is the baro circuit.

This lovely mess, hehe, is my tach output circuit, since i'm direct firing my four coils(wasted spark for now, muahaha, I have nowhere to pick the coil- from). I also added a 1K resistor on the tach's ground to clean the signal up a bit. Total cost for parts $4.

There has to be a name for guys who hot rod car management systems, there are a handful or so of guys on STF that are doing some absolutely crazy things with megasquirt3's, a couple of them have just about maxed out their processors. Anyways i'm haing a blast modifing mine and making it do what i want it to do. Way way more fun then carburators and distributors

ninja edit- I frogot to update this but monday after the classic I figured out why i was getting an obsene amount of cpu resets...wrong plugs! FML, it was something simple and stupid. I got some bosch platinum plugs that have resistors and that cleared up just about all of my resets, i get a random one on acceleration but the cap on the input power should fix that.
