Antique plates are the only ones that you get 1 plate. The plates that actually have antique written on them.

Yup, so if you register the car as antique using YOM plates, you only need one. :thumbs:

I think you just got lucky that the person didnt know the rules. I just called down to the montgomery office (because i only have the one dealer plate for courtney's) they told me that it doesnt matter if you register it as an antique or a classic with YOM plates you have to have both of the plates. If you dont have YOM plates they issue you one plate that says antique on it.

and you had my hopes up :( her dealer plate is bad ass
