My friend Jim sharing a couple of celebratory cigars- I have been helping him out with his '50 F*rd F1, he was a VW virgin.

Installing cheap '59 Caddy tailights into some nasty patch panels- Don't know when I will be able to afford/find correct Euro '55 tailights!

The soup was used for a metal form, the bottle of Shiner is for drinking!
They were too long so I frenched 'em. Here I'm making the buckets:

Moving on to window sills, several needed repairing:

I don't have a cargo door handle so I made a special one- Hazet wrench (what VW used on the assembly line) holding a "KAMAX" bolt (original OEM that was in the bus), It says "55" the model year of my kombi.

Repairing several dents in the 1 year only decklid:

3 dents and 27 holes

The bus is a Euro, so I think the plate is appropriate!!
Old crusty KM speedo:

Installed refurbed speedo (odo set to all nines so I could turn it over), Ambulance fans in, Engine almost done...Can you tell I like to pinstripe?
