They are original 55 frames that I had upholstered by Stitch Corporation. I had them add bolstering to the sides and back to hold me in place in turns. Check out the first page of this thread, there are some pics of them there. ;)

Brian we have not talk for months now. How is my favourite Oval in the world doing? Have you finish tuning the engine?

Hey man, good to see you back on here, I was just wondering the other day where you had been.

I haven't really had time to get into tuning it other than just normal sync'ing of the carbs and idle mixtures. My LM-1 is telling me it's going lean on the main circuit though, and I can feel it when winding it out. It's f'ing fast now, but it will be much faster when i dial that mixture in. It drives nice though, I'm in stop-and-go traffic to and from work in it, runs nice and cool and has gobs of torque. Darren at DRD said he had never seen an IDA motor with that much torque down low. Hopefully soon I can start swapping in some bigger main jets and bring that AFR down to ~12.5:1, it's up around 14 now, so there is a ton more power in it.

How is your beast coming?

I haven't done anything. Summer time and all.   I have to raise some funds first and then I will start again. I have to buy an ecu for the engine. That alone is quite expensive.

The Oval though looks great

Megasquirt is not that expensive (my new MS3/extra with all the bells and whistles is a bit pricey).
