What best way to lower the rears?
Drop plate?

I have done both on my own cars. I prefer the plates myself, due to being able to retain the load on the spring plates. To me the ride seems better because the rear end is stiffer. The draw back is that once you install the plates there is no going back without changing the axle tubes on the tranny, because the dropped plates relocate the shock mount and you have to cut the stock shock mount from the axle tube.
