you got the color right it is Texas Brown, but it was never offered for a split. Chestnut Brown was the split color. here is an example of an original chestnut brown split

Not to one up anybody, but that is not chestnut brown in the last picture. that color is Bourdeaux Red, which is also a split era color. I only know this because I spend countless hours trying to decide ultimately what color mine will one day be...lol. But yes, Chestnut brown was offered on later splits, medium brown was also offered.
