i still want input on this topic but also think about what size tire to use for a spare, i dropped my spare rim off at the powder coater so now i have to figure if im going to run a 165 on it or a 135 on it. the 165 would be cheaper but then if ya have a flat on the front? the 135 would be more expensive but then if ya have a flat on the back? input please

I'd go with a 135, if you get a flat on the front you are set. If you used a 165 and got a flat on the front you could have a rubbing or paint burn through issue under your fender but on the back the 135 will just look funny until you get it fixed!

If you could guarantee that the pillow is nice and sealed, maybe a plastic or vinyl inner liner it should work: I just had a thought, how about a food saver bag for the inner liner, mainly because the bags seal with the heat strip! Just put your foam in the plastic bag cut to shape, seal it up and then sew a fabric pillow case around that.

Running a 135 on the rear would be no different than running a donut on a newer car. It would only be until you got the 165 fixed. Go with the 135.

whitewalls would make it just look like it had lower profile tires, if you had the wheels painted body color white walls would look killer
