the lower shock mount is the same distance from the axle with either the kit or stock lower mount. If the axle moves up, ie you lower the car, the distance between the upper and lower shock mounts gets smaller. Whether you move the axle with the kit or the "old fashion" way, the bottom of the shock still moves with it the same amount, since in both cases the bottom shock mount is in the same place with respect to the axle. think about it...
whatever dude you just dont get it, its not the same. even the position of the he shock is different. when you lower your car via the splines the rear wheel shoves forward to the front of the car hince the lower shock mount itself is closer to the front of the car. these swing it back down in a vertical position. until you inspect this system in person or install a set you will never understand. but i assure you they are different.
