while the aluminum was getting its final acid bath i put stuffed the fuel tank back into the car. no to bad for a brushed on POR15 paint job :hillbilly:

Image

The inside is done up with standard issue (por15 product) and looks awesome but the tank is a born again virgin so I still don't know how good the sealer is.

BTW there is a fuel bung welded on the bottom. Seeing how nice the tank came out i have already begun on the spare tire well.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... K:MEWNX:IT

Modify some IDF mani's, and a trick cable pull linkage like this http://shoptalkforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=133074 and a little modification to the fuel rail to make it two fuel rails and I should be GTG.

My cell phone doesn't like "obama bulbs", i'll take some clearer pics after i modify the manifolds and attach the throttle bodies. The injectors are 245cc pico style Bosch units, and the throttle body already has a TPS on it. I'm going to try and modify the fuel rails bit worst case i will have to make some rails. The linkage is going to be key but slowtwitch over on STF has cable linkage down to a science. Unifilter makes some nice 2x4" filter pods. I'll drill and tap one of the manifolds for a IAT. This is definitely doable, and fairly inexpensive.

That's neat. What are those throttle bodies off?

they are off a 04-05 suzuki gsx-r600, 38mm throttle bodies. You can pic and chose what size throttle body your engine needs.

here is a link about it http://www.msextra.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=94&t=6602

btw I got the TB for $30 off ebay, yay me

Nice. How are you mounting them to the manifolds?
