So my car decides its gonna leak some more gas..... ..... I thought I fixed the problem a long time ago. It drained about 3 gallons of the good stuff on my garage floor overnight :wow: . I discovered it when I went to get my hand truck to haul crap to the curb for trash day. The smell about knocked me over! :help: I went down to see Kermit and got some metric fuel line. Since the tank was dry it was an easy fix. Once I removed the fuel hose I inspected the pipe it attached to. It was replaced when I refurbished my gas tank. It turns out the cheap chinese crap had a very rough flare at the end and that is what was causing it to rub through the line. I cut off the flare and cleaned it up with emory cloth. BTW: did yall know gasoline disolves the grit off of emory cloth? I put on the new hose and clamps and I am happy with the repair. Remember to go and buy a fire extiguisher if you don't have one! And put it in your car!
