LOL it is easy to say "DO IT" but 1900 plus 500 in shipping is a lot of green.

CASH flow ... always my issue ... if you can float the cash until you can sell and recoup...

Cash flow isnt the prob. Im more concerned about the interest in the resale of my early oval interior and the amount i will ultimately recoup. I can either restore the seatbacks and be good or chance it with the whole thing. I was thinking no to the whole thing since the door panels are incorrect. Id have to worry about selling a complete mismatch set. Thats whats holding me up....

I'd lean towards if there is no profit and just a wash... why bother.. doesn't help anyone.. and that just means a middle man for something that is just going to worse as it gets passed around.. like making a copy on the copy machine .. can only do it so much before you can't read the writing..

but that is my own .02

Well that settles it then! Im just gonna get the spare backrests and some other odds and ends off the car. Getting an awesome deal on some correct original parts

good approach, Im with Tommie if its just a wash and recouping the money it really isnt worth it. now if you got it super cheap and was able to double or triple your money I would think about it for sure.

oh yeah...all the guess work would be done then. I know I wouldnt break even on everything, probably not even close, and id be stuck with mismatch door panels...lol. i tried to see if the guy would sell just the seats, but he wants to keep it all together since its a complete-esque interior. I understand. But yeah, if that was all matching and correct, i would consider buying it all, bypassing my ride to sell it all stateside. A guy from florida just sold a complete OG interior material set (seat covers for all seats and door panels) out of his 51 for $900. So if i had that with the seats as well? NO BRAINER!
