Yes gonna have to be :) Plans right now are 69mm counterweighted crank, 90.5 pistons, Engle 110 cam with baby webers and Manx sidewinder or a tri-mil exhaust. Although not an ideal case, 1500 single relief, think it will do okay in the openness of a buggy.

Still tinkering with wiring. And behind dash panel #1 we have..

A pretty decent looking dash! Still has the original texture even. And not many holes. Still working on removing the other side but being its dark outside, will have to restart tomorrow.

Actually had a change of plans. Gonna keep this motor stock. Do a quicky patch on the pan, and just drive it. Don't feel like getting over my head on this one just yet. I have the other buggy that's in pieces to get assembled and once that's done, gonna give this one some loving.

Other side..... Not so nice....

So it looks like the diamond plate (or something similar) is gonna have to stay. Picked up a can of bedliner this weekend and and gonna spray that after while to see what it looks like.

On a positive note, those holes give access to the spaghetti behind the dash pretty good :D

A sheet of carbon fiber would cover up those holes and look good doing it

Shoot I started that Saturday evening. Was gonna work some more on it yesterday but the rain stopped me. Should be back on it this evening.
