Now to the next obstacle.... clogged fuel line. At least I'm pretty sure. Gas dribbles out the end of the metal line near the trans, faster than a drip, but probably not fast enough IMO. I was going to use some plastic weedeater line to try and clean out the line, anyone ever tried doing this? Since there is fuel, I want to avoid using welding wire, (even though I think that would work better).

I could actually use a hand. Anyone want to come over tonight or tomorrow? I can even pull the car to your house. call me if you're interested, I'm about to step out for a few hours. 281 Two 35 53 six 1.

use a old clutch cable or speedo cable, weedeater line is not going to work. Do not use compressed air as it will make all kids of mess, ask me how I know. :(

Where are your filters? do you have one under the tank, (you just cleaned the tank right) the filter maybe already clogged with a little left over crap from the tank cleaning. Remove all filters and then check fuel flow at the pipe near transmission. It could also be the inline filter trap at the bottom of the tank. Let me know...I can come help tomorrow if needed.

OK - did you use any carb cleaner? anything like that? I just tried a coat hanger, but I don't think it's malleable enough. I need to find a clutch cable, I know I have one somewhere.

Duane - Filter is back by the transmission. I think something got in the hard line. Next time I think I'll put two filters, one near the tank and one at the trans. :x

Bo, have you checked that nylon in tank filter at the bottom of the tank?

Yeah, it's not there. No nylon tank filter.
