Trying to find one before work... Anybody want to do some morning brake work tomorrow??
Going to try a last ditch effort, if all else fails maybe I'll back that wheels pads off like crazy and see where the brake bias wants to go.

Ditto on that. I had an old Ford that I had issues with one wheels brake and no money to fix it. Just back the adjusters off and roll out. Just dont get crazy on the road...

Well got the brakes finished up the night before the monument. Took her for the first real drive to the gas station filled up the tires and took a short cruise. Felt great untill I got home and gas was dripping onto my hot start! Thought it must be the fuel
Filler neck. Dammit. Well took everything back out (motor, bumper, apron) and then saw the filler neck is fine. Hmmmm. Took the tank back out and discovered 2 small pinholes I somehow missed. Rushing for the  monument perhaps? Anyway, now I'm waiting on a new tank and it should be on the road... Hopefully.
Also my computer took a dump so no pics for a while, everything via iPod till then.
Hopefully camping for memorial day...
If anyone has a line on a gas tank for a 69 bus pm me, I'm waiting to hear difinitively from my source but it could fall through.
Thanks!

Badaboom, had a buddy weld up my original tank so the hunt is over.
Yesterday was my day off so I took some time to play with the bus. Bald I did because it turned into an all day event.
I cleaned the tank and repainted the bottom (where the braising is) and reinstalled.
Outoftheoffice rolled thru and we plugged the motor in.
I re fuel lined her and bolted everything up......

She's a driver! Put about 50 miles on so far and smooth as silk.
Pics to come, my commuter is busted
