OH - man that is freakin sweet --- I love that look.. so much more practical and cool..

I do like my low.. but a vw that looks like that is just sweet to me..

Plus you get to flat paint for the OLD SCHOOL war look and that to me can be cooler than a shiney paint job..

DO it!!!!!

Well, today was a rather unproductive day working on the car although i was able to get it running. The engine sounds great but needs some major resealing done to it. It leaks from the push rod tubes, sump plate, valve covers, and the oil pump that i can see so far. Tomorow i plan to get the engine pulled and get over to lowes and pick up a new air compressor so i can get to sanding on it.

Well work has been slow, so that means that you guys need to come buy something. :D I haven't had much time to work on the car with school and all. I am going to get four fenders before this weekend and mount them up just for fun. I will be sure and take some pictures. I also found a hole about an inch and a half tall and three inches long next to the battery in the heater channel. I think i am just going to do some patch work on it rather than an entire heater channel.

Well i got to do a little work on the bug. I did a little more paint stripping and in the process found ALOT of body filler that i cannot believe i missed. Any way it appears that the po was in an accident and they replaced the rear passengers side quarter panel. I think that i am going to have to put things on hold with the bug as i do not have to space to do the required body work on it. Oh well such is life. For now i am going to dig out the dune buggy and begin finishing it. :D I will start a thread for it.

Thinking of selling the 65, just don't know what to ask for it. It has a clean Dual Port engine that goes with. Spread the word if you know of anyone that is interested in a project.
