That's right fellas, I picked up another VW this afternoon. I'll post picks in a week or so. I'm moving into the new house in 2 weeks, and the car will be in storage till then, so I don't have a chance to take photos. Sorry.

The car is a 70, partly disassembled. It is bittersweet. It has a dual carb 1835 (not sure, but 18-something), but the engine is stuck. I'll tear it apart and see what's up. I don't want the car, just the engine, so I'll probably be getting rid of it. Has a title. The guy made me a deal that was hard to refuse.

I'm looking forward to working on the car.

It will be at least a week. It's in storage around the corner from Ethan right now. This Friday I'll take it to my new house. If I can find where I packed my camera, I'll take pictures then.

The car's not much to look at, but honestly, I was more interested in the engine. Right now it's primer grey/primer black. All the windows are out, but they're all there, except for the windshield, i need a new one. The car has one piece windows (i'm not thrilled). It's an almost complete car. To be honest, I haven't even gone through all the boxes of stuff that came with the car, so im not sure what's all there. (yeah, the price was low enough to where I didn't even bother to check all that.) Supposedly the engine is an 1835, it has dual carbs (not sure what kind, haven't looked). It has a fiberglass whale tail grafted onto the decklid.

I'll try to get some pics up as soon as I can. Thanks guys!

I got dibs on that whale tale deck lid if you're not going to run it, that would look SWEET on my oval!
