You may or may not know this one. We Call him Clyde, because that's what my kids decided he needed to be named. He's a '66 and we've had him since about 2004.
Here's a pic from when he came home.

Here's what he looks like right now:

Some vital stats. Color's PPG Sunburst Orange. Suspension's a static drop, 4" narrowed beam and spindles up front, 2 outers on the rear. Front tires are 195/50x15 and the rears are 225/60x15. Motor's a 1641 with a 110 cam and dual 40 K-dogs. Stock heads, 009, header and stinger. Nothing super fancy, but it's just fine for my soon-to-be-driving teenager.

Interior's mostly stock for now, that's the next project.
This one was taken at the Goodguys show in November. I had him out there for a commercial shoot. Still waiting to see if we get in or not.

Here's a drawing Lemorris did of him for me:

This fat bastard is what he normally hauls around.

With the Passat

Here's the '63. It's not a whole lot to look at right now.

Here's where I think I'm going with it, more or less:

This will be my replacement for Clyde once the kids start driving him. I'm still bouncing back and forth on some things mechanically, but I think the overall look's set. I'm torn on between going NA and turbo on the powerplant, and whether or not I want to go insane and drop in the berg 5. I guess if I don't hit the lottery I'll be going the less spendy route
