I decided to build a car from ground up, so I found this nice very dry 58 for sale in west texas.
Original floor pans still good with no rust in battery tray , never been hit front or rear, and doors both open an shut very nice.
Its a numbers matching car Motor , pan, and body.

Awesome project! Looks solid!

Very interesting that the car was delivered to Luxembourg but with US-spec options. Maybe someone in the military?

I wonder what was in the hole in the dash? Is it a standard 2 1/16"? Are you going to weld it up or put an old-school amp-gauge in it or something.

Thanks guys, Its a VDO white face fule gauge, I beleive its dealer installed, it also has the sending unit in the gas tank. I was thinking I might keep it. What do you guys think? I will take a picture with gauge in it later.

Nice find man, very solid! If you think the gauge was dealer-installed I would keep it!

Very cool car! It's cool that it had a reverse light, and hazard warning. Which reverse light system did it have on it?
