Just getting started on this project! And it is being chopped in Houston!
Just a few things it will getting and parts are on the ground already.
Wedge Chop to keep the rear quater window looking almost normal
Oval window
2 fold slider
Suicide doors
Hidden hinges and handles
Was going rat rod on it but it is to clean of a car to start with to go that route, going to get early fenders and old school look chop. I think, lol!

Keep us posted. After you complete the chop, I'd like to know what you did and didnt like about it and also if you would have done anything different. Know what I mean?

good luck!

Neal Shaddox, in H-Town. He had his early chop bug at the Monument show roughed in. The guy has the natural talent for looking at it and see what is right and where to cut. I guess it could be his engineering schooling and love for the dubs that gets him there. It is really turning out just the way I want it. I have been looking at all of the chops I could for a few years and almost bought two but both were not quite right and I met up with him and we went over all the things on his chop and lots of pictures of my ideas of the perfect chop and his and we just hit it off and wanted the same thing so bam here we are! I am glad you guys like it and the chop part of the build will be pretty fast as he really gets it done and done right. If you looked at his car close he even choppped the vent windows in it.

Hey Eric, may want you to work your flame skills on this one.

Bobby, Is that my body from my Manxter build that Frank gave you? What ever happened to that body? Just wondering as it looks like the body we pulled off at his house.

Hey Patrick no its not that one. That one is in the back waiting for something else. The roof on that one had a few to many waves. It will probably end up a chopped low pickup project. The pan to this one is however under a Buggy from San Antonio.

Hey Patrick you guys headed up to Salado? If so when are you leaving? We are heading out Friday and I think we are caravaning with Chris W. Bunch of us are staying at the Holiday Inn Express.

Ok guys just so you know I did not cut this clip out of an oval but I did buy it! I would have much rather had the oval with the car. Anyways, here is what we started with, full oval clip, notice the long vents which on a chop top push the window way up on the roof and almost turn them into a sun roof.
