OK, most of you already know about this one but for those of you that don't here's the new addition to the collection The bus belonged to Nate at Wagenswest and it's being loaded on a truck today headed from Salem OR to Dallas I hope to have it at the Ft. Worth show.

This bus is a true patina wearing a lot of its original paint. While Nate had it he replaced all the rockers and got rid of all the rust. Patina is the key word here and I plan to keep it that way and drive the crap out of it It's a Wolfsburg bus making it pretty rare as it was only produced for 1 year. It has many barndoor crossovers like the smooth fresh air vent, barndoor doglegs, gas door, 6 leg middle bench and the bent tubing cradle. I purchased a complete 6 leg bench from Portugal as the one that's in there is missing springs. I picked it up from U.S. customs yesterday.

I'm planning to build a big motor and trany for it soon. I'll probably do the interior after that and call it good! TURN BACK NOW IF YOU DON'T LIKE PICTURES AND DO NOT "QUOTE" THIS ONE...

This is what Nate started with. He stripped all the Blue paint off with that citrus Home Depot stripper.

That thing is NUTS! I can't wait to see it in person.
