Looking good!
If you really want to be true to the Cal Look, there are a couple things you need to do. One is ditch the fog lights. I think you would be hard pressed to find a Looker that ran them. Next is your stance, its all wrong. Cal Look cars were stock height in back and had the nose down. Have a look on dKP's website at what their cars look like, they invented the Look.
Don't get me wrong, I think your car looks good, but if you are serious about recreating the Cal Look those are things you will need to do. And by the way, BRMs are considered an acceptable Cal Look wheel, most dKP cars run them.

Rules are meant to broken, anyways cal look is beyond played out, the grape ape is a trend setter and a representation of your own vision.

What ever Nick. But Donnie said
Quote:
...live up to the Cal Look as much as I can

And his signature says
Quote:
67 Beetle, Rolling 80's Cal-Look

So I figured he wanted a true Cal Looker. It's a very well defined look. Like I said, the car looks great, but it's not a Cal Looker.

Donnie, the other thing you'll need if you really want the "Look" is different tire sizes. Most ran about a 205/70 in the rear, which is a 26" tall tire, and 135's in front. It was the "big and littles" look. The ultimate is to run cheater slicks in the rear.
