This has been a long time in the making, and is't done yet, but it's close enough to start showing the new look. I'll explain more about some of the details later, but in the mean time I would just like to thank Paul for all the helpful conversations we had while I was coming up with the new look of the 55 over about the last year and a half. So, here's the pics, some of you will like it, some of you will probably hate it, lol. But I love the way it looks more than I ever have, and it's waaay more fun to drive, so I'm happy 8-)

Thanks guys! Yeah, it's been hard to keep it under wraps for this long, but in the intermediate stages it just didn't give the full effect. It's only looked as pictured for about a week now...

Love it!

Very nice vintage rally racer look.

Explain one thing if you don't mind that is... 37? Why not 55?

Thanks guys.

For those of you that don't know the history of my car, my dad was the one who found the car for me, a friend of his owned it and he pestered him over the years till he sold it to us (in about '03). The car stayed at my parents house in San Diego while I was living in Houston, and I would work on it when I visited them and my dad would tinker with it here and there. In August 2005 my dad died of cancer. We had actually planned on towing it from SD to Houston that summer, father and son, but he was diagnosed and died about a month later. My dad was born in 1937...

Nice pics. Brian and I discussed doing Williams birthday, but his Dads fit the car better. The Tbars came from FAT performance. And are autographed by Ron Fleming, and Gregg Arson, two of the pioneers of the og cal look. The car has some neat pieces, and vintage credentials!
