That standard bar looks pretty nice as is. I look forward to seeing the updated version. Does that standard bar fit in a regular sedan? Will you be attending the Treffen? Eliot and I are planning to drive out.

Oh cool! You bringing your car? Is Eliot bringing something?

Yes, the standard bar fits a regular sedan.

I've had this idea in my head for yesrs... Finally got off my butt and started working on it. The horn grills are in the perfect location for brake duct inlets. I designed new inlets for them, no mods to the fenders needed. I also designed flanges for the inside of the fenders that 2.5" brake duct hose can attach to. I'll paint the inlets silver and the flanges black.
Here is one of the inlets I printed last night on my 3D printer. Brake duct hose is on order.

Some more progress. I printed the inner flange and test fit on the car. Other than obviously having to move the horn seems to look right. I'm printing pieces for the other side now.

Both sides mounted:

Now I need to sand and paint them, then add the ducts when they come.

Thanks! Yeah, it's a cool tool to have, especially for a project like this. Wouldn't really be possible without it.

Painted, ready to install. I'll probably let them dry overnight though just to be safe...
