I forgot to mention in my previous post that I got the mesh I had chromed mounted to the firewall and wire cover. I ended up using Gorilla brand epoxy. I also got the panels mocked up in the engine bay, mostly to try and figure out what to do with the wiring.

I thought about hiding the wiring behind the panels. I can see that being a nightmare if something stupid like the wiring for the tail lights got a bad connection. I would have to pull the entire motor just to get the panels out.

Had to clean all the clear and paint off for the hood crest.
Look how closed up the hole is on the left.

Also got the back glass installed. This was my second attempt. first time three inches of the trim popped out. So I had to order a new seal and trim.

I was out in the garage tonight when my neighbor and a couple of his buddies walked over to see the car. I mentioned I was just about ready to mate the body to the chassis next thing I know there was at least 15 guys from the Boozefighter MC in my garage and in less than a few minutes. The body was on. Awesome day!!!!

Ethan, you have access to a mill, don't you? Just clamp the original turn signal housing in the mill vice and drill it out those screws. Hell, send it to me and I'll do it!

I will have to ask around and see who has one. I thought about trying to drill it out by hand but it is going to take a tiny bit and I doubt I could even hold it straight.

Got a few more things done.

Got the backs of the bumpers painted as well as all the brackets.
I went with anthracite with flat clear. They turned out real nice. I got the front one mounted but I am waiting on the hardware to mount the rear.

Talk about sweating bullets....punching holes and installing trim on the door panels, is a little nerve racking
