Well, I have been out of the loop for a while. As soon as we settle into our new (to us) house I am going to start back on the 69. I still need to figure out why my steering has so much play, go through the rear brakes, and I need help modifying a roof rack to make it fit (it has nothing to clamp to the rain gutters). I will post picks of the roof rack soon so yall can see what I am talking about.

where did you move too?

Not far. Just about 10 minutes from our other house. We are in Katy now.

That is the plan. Things have just been crazy. I have been working non stop, we were looking for a house and then closing, and we are now expecting our second child.

We live off of Misty Cove and Fry Road. Just south of the Clay and Fry intersection. The wife is due March 22nd.

Well, I fINALLY got a steering box that works and it is installed. Thanks to Kermit at KAR Parts for working through this for me. It is crazy how much more I enjoy driving it now that it steers properly. I have a buddy from the Army coming into town this coming weekend and we are heading out to nifteefiftees in the Beetle. Hope to see some of yall out there again!

Clay, what color is your interior? Carpet is Oatmeal, but what about the door panels and seats? It sure looks good!
