I've been told to start a build thread... 8-) Not too exciting, but here's a start.

Bought it for $900 and it already had adjustable struts, Grant wheel, 8-spokes, and a 1776 with dual 40dels :wow: All recipts included there was over $5k in it. The guy was selling it for someone else and didn't really know anything about it. (the story we were told is the actual PO was building it for his son, but when the ex-wife found out that he was building that "POS" she just bought him a new car, so the dad just scrapped the project.) Drove it for a week until it wouldn't run anymore, found out there was water damage in the carbs so I rebuilt them along with the whole top-end and new heads since some of the valve guides were pulling out too. Ran it like that for a while until I got bored and had the 1915 built. Had it painted up after HS graduation and soon after did the MaXX strut/porsche wheel combo with Ghia disks up front. A couple years later I did the front 944T brake swap. A couple years go by and I have a small carb fire, so back in goes the old 1776 that I had just finished up to go in my '70 Baja (I ended up selling the baja since I never really made any progress on it). So the 1915 is rebuilt and still sitting in my garage after a few more years, just need to finish the carbs and it will go back in. Oh and somewhere along the line I had a lifter bore break so I needed a new case... Right now I am putting together the parts for the rear 944 brake conversion. It has some electrical issues that I need to sort before I can really drive it anywhere, and since I HATE electrical issues I've kinda been stalling on that one. Anyways, thats about it. Here are some pics:
