Thanks guys! It runs really strong and I end up running out of gears on the highway!

I put my new wheels and tires on last night and actually got the ignition switch to work. I drove it to work this morning.

The wheels are from a Porsche 928S and are lightweight forged alloy. They weigh about 16lbs each! Much better than the 21lbs of my previous 17" gravity cast ones.

I think your car would look GREAT!!!!!! with a set of Porsche phonedials. Nothing turns me on more than a superbeetle with phonedials except maybe for the super I saw at Ft.Worth last Fall that was painted with bedliner!!!!

I thought about those. Find me a set of the 16" high offset 6" and 7" and we'll see. ;-)

My second full tank netted me the exact same mileage. Makes sense, since I drove the exact same route. I'm not complaining :D

Considering the work that has been done on it, yeah! I couldn't find any EPA MPG ratings for it, so I put an average of what I read from users online. Anyone know what the EPA mileage is on a stock Super Beetle or any other 1600dp Beetle? (mine is not a 1600 anymore)
