Well f!!! This block is trash spun a bearing in the case and this case can be cut any more. Thanks Ethan for coming over to help lift it up to the stand, and tear down for the bad news. :(

Well I am thinking i am going to build a new motor with new parts aluminum case I am thinking I will stay with a 1776 cc new 69 crank, h beam rods 5.50 long to give me more adjustment with commpression over stock rods I am at 7.8 to 1 compression using the new 041 heads 60 cc chamber, and stepping up to a 110 cam from a 100 cam. Any thoughts the case is cut for 90.5 and cleranced for any stroke crank. I just want a engine that will run cool and pull my trailer if I want to. My average 10,000 miles a year.

Sounds like a great little combo. I wouldn't go above about 8.5:1 CR with that setup.

I'd stay with the 100 cam and go 1.25 that will give you more bottom
Torque.

I'm a big fan of DPR cranks too. Balanced flywheel and rods all as a rotating assembly.

CB performance makes a cam called their cheater cam
I've used it in a few bus motor builds and it is a smooth power
Maker. Small valved heads work well with it too

Even smaller vents.. As I think you run dellorto 40s?
Which if so have bigger vents than most of your combos
Would most likely work better with.

I am going to order a new aluminum case that i can go almost any size i want for the same money Scotty G says if i go over 2000 cc i will need different heads and carbs so that is out. I have 041 heads 35.5mm and 40 mm valves with drla 40 carbs with 36 venture's so my question is is a bigger stroke or a bigger piston better for torque. i was thinking going 92x78 or 88x82 both will get me in the 1995cc or 1965 cc. :help:

Since its a bus, and your heads are small, I would err on the side of larger stroker/smaller pistons, the 88x92. Should be a stump puller.
