I did a test fit today before I left for work just to see how the pan fit up in the chassis. The Wolfsberg West pan seems to fit very very nice. I know I will not need to do any trimming on the passenger side along the edge of the tunnel. I will know a lot more after I finish the sanding and grinding of all the old welds. It only looks like about a 1/8" off at the moment. I think it will be spot on after all the prep work. It also looks like i need to replace the back part by the torsion tube. It got some rust holes in it that are bothering me.

Got the news most of my parts were ready to ship, but I had Kevin send them off to get some custom color powder coating done.
So a bit of a delay but man I am ready to see my crate and start installing them. Everything will be a black and red combo through out the chassis. Should look bad ass  This is the pic I got from Kevin before the coatings.

It's actually one pound lighter than a stock suspension spindle to spindle.

I was going to ask the same thing. It looks like it would be way too heavy.

I finally have a update on this build. I received my crate last weekend. Took all summer but its finally here. Here are a couple of pics of a few parts and the current status of my chassis. Most of the parts are on the shelf so there not pictured. I can say first hand that the brake parts front and rear look super nice and well built. I am now mocking up the IRS parts for the conversion. While I have the chassis all cut open I will be adding the hidden fuel in the tunnel. Hopefully it will be somewhat smooth. I will post more updates as I can make progress.
If anyone wants to see something specific on this build let me know and I will take a picture.
Timo
