Cool project! I dig volksrods. There's some pretty neat ones out here. You're not going to have much steering with that setup though, as long as the arms are on those spindles its going to have a huge turning radius and very sluggish response. |

Brian, Thanks for the words of support. In reference to the front suspension. A good friend in CA designed this front suspension. He has put it on a number of other VW rods and it handles and drives extremely well. He worked on the geometry for several years and went through a number of steering arms and other combinations to get it to work like a modern vehicle. I can't wait to drive mine! |

Oh cool, it really looks sharp! Can't wait to see more progress. Is that yours in the pic, or just a pic of the same setup? Does it use a long pitman arm or something to make up for the long spindle arms? |

Brian, Picture of a setup from my CA friend. I have all the parts, just not together yet....but, mine has slightly shorter spindle arms and slightly longer pitman arm. More pics as progress continues. |

Great update! The new H apron was high dollar, how was the fit? I have seen the ad for them several times and have always wondered how much easier the installation was compared to the other rear clips available that are non H. |
