Here we go with another Manx built dune buggy. This buggy shell was founded in Charlotte NC. It's been over 10 yrs.' Weather in the islands is always stays in the 80's. Building this buggy will be fun and a nice driver. Without further due. It's time.

Sitting against a tree in NC. After I did some work on it. Then I shipped it home and sat it under the house.

Then after some careful thoughts. I just knew I needed a stout chassis. So I called up on David in Fresno Cali to build me a chassis the way I wanted it. With the help of Bugman Forsure!! Things got moving in the right direction.

I thought this project would have gone quick but it took awhile. I would have preferred to work on my 55 3fold ragtop I got sitting in Charlotte NC. That will come later... here is some pic of it.

Back to the Manx Buggy. After some test fitting of the body on the chassis. We had to cut out alot of the luggage compartment area. I would like to keep it as OG as possible but this don't count. It fiberglass.. lol. But i won't dare alter the outter shell body lines. That is staying OG...

The motor I have for this buggy is a 2387cc with 48 IDA's. Super Flows heads, 94 Wesco Pistons, Century Cylinder 86 crank wedge-mated to the flywheel. Brand new aluminum block. full flowed, shuffled pinned also. It gonna be a blast to drive! Also I got a Gene Berg shifter and a Doug (DLX-Iron) shift box.

We manage to getting to rolling status and fab up the roll cage. The Jaycee side cover are holding the 28mm torsion in place. Welded in a mid mount for the transmission. Painted on black Por-15 on the chassis. Guess who chilling in the buggy!!

Bugman Forsure work his magic cutting & welding the cage together in my backyard!! That brother there is a beast!!! He has a snack for fabrication when you thought we were stuck!!

Then Khova had to tow S.I.D. to Bugman Forsure place to do some fiber glassing!! I owes him my left nut because that fiberglass stuff gets all over the place & it Itches you like if U got crabs... lol.. Some of y'all got burned before so don't act like you never got crabs..

As we kept pushing it thru! we came out looking sweet!! I was glad the fiber glass work were finishing up! This buggy is the first of it kind built the right way. Torsion is narrowed 3 inches and raised. The ball joint front end is narrowed 3 inches also.. Project started to take shape.

After getting it all done and fab up by Bugman Forsure! Khova towed back to the crib..... These gentlemen are champion!!!
